Merchant Accounts

Our merchant account services enable you to accept credit card payments and donations quickly and securely. A merchant account is what funds you for your debit and credit card transactions.

How 4aGoodCause merchant accounts work:

We partner with Dharma Merchant Services to provide merchant accounts to our ecommerce clients. Dharma has a strong commitment to the nonprofit community, offering a 10% give-back program and a complaint-free record with the Better Business Bureau. By using a merchant account, your organization will be set up to accept:

Debit cards
Visa
MasterCard
Discover
American Express

Pricing

Our pricing model is based on the Interchange Rate (the cost that Visa and MasterCard set for accepting each type of credit/debit card) using a percentage of the sale and a per-transaction fee. Processing rates are currently interchange plus 0.3%. Processing fees typically run $0.15 (with no minimums) and may include a $15 customer support and/or monthly compliance fee. We are up front with all of our merchant account fees and pricing, so please ask us if you’d like additional information in this area.
