Explanation of fees
Our
set-up fee covers all the page design, database creation and consulting needed to get you fundraising online.
Your
monthly hosting fee covers the security and disk space needed to host your secure payment system. This cost includes security scanning services ($25/month value) and a SSL security certificate ($249/yr value). It also covers our time to support your site and answer questions as you have them each month. You can host up to 3 systems under our base $35/month hosting price.
The
transaction fee is necessary to cover increased hosting expenses with busier sites. It's an amiable system because sites generating higher sales generally have higher traffic and the increased sales will easily cover the transaction fee. You'll never outgrow your site with 4aGoodCause.com. The transaction fee revenue allows us to provide the special hardware and support a high-volume site requires. We charge $0.25 per transaction.
